Asked for whom should the Spanish people vote at the upcoming general elections, Chomsky answered "... for Diem!". This doesn't mean that we simply need politics at the national state level, but that, precisely as per DiEM25’s European agenda, this is clearly not enough. In order to achieve radical changes in specific nation States - from Spain to Britain, from France to Croatia - we need a pan-European movement which is able to overcome national boundaries and connect all democrats who still believe that Europe needs to be saved and can be saved. We need a united and broad front, which is able to prevent a postmodern 1930s. This is why, among other reasons, DiEM25 was founded.
