"Xi Jinping petition"

End repression in Tibet

Hundreds of Tibetans have been disappeared or arbitrarily detained over the last few months.

This includes Lolo (right) who was sentenced to six years in prison in February 2013 for singing songs about freedom.

Collective punishments are being inflicted on entire communities and courts are handing down heavy sentences for alleged involvement in protests.

This crackdown is part of the Chinese government's increasing efforts to crush Tibetan resistance. These policies fuel Tibetans' anger and create a cycle of protest and repression.

Xi Jinping (far right) is President of the People's Republic of China and General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party. Ultimate responsibility for China's actions lies with him.

Please sign our petition below calling for an end to repression and disappearances.

We will submit this petition to the Chinese authorities. You can even add your own comment.
